Our teens are the future… and PTS is here to help them grow!

In addition to Youth Education, 8th-12th grade students at PTS can get involved in a variety of social and service programs.

Literally meaning “head of the month,” Rosh Hodesh is a chance for PTS teens to enjoy dinner together and discuss topics relevant to coming of age, as Jews. Groups are gender and grade-specific, and designed for individuals to bond over similarities (and differences) inherent in their backgrounds. Rosh Hodesh groups meet once a month. Apply here for Rosh Hodesh for the 2023-2024 school year.

Youth Education at PTS would not be the same without our amazing madrichim, or teacher’s assistants. This program is a great way to gain experience, stay connected with the PTS community, and nourish the next generation. Plus, madrichim get to participate in special development events focusing on leadership, teamwork, and more! Apply here to be a part of our madrichim program for the 2023-2024 school year.

Peninsula Area Reform Temple Youth is where Jewish teens of PTS develop bonds with their age group in the Jewish community. PARTY fellowship members brainstorm, plan, and put on events for their peers. If you’re not part of PARTY fellowship, we’d love to see you at our many events throughout the year. Teens of PTS can attend as many PARTY events as they would like! Apply here to the 2023-2024 PARTY Fellowship.

Teens are welcome to gain experience in the workforce by doing administrative work in the PTS office or serving as student sound engineers. If you are interested in a part-time job during the school year or on summer break, please let us know.
