Mission: The League of Extraordinary Mensches supports the spiritual, social and intellectual needs of the mensches of the PTS community through conversation, service and social activities. In the spirit of fellowship, we focus primarily on the men of the PTS community to support them in pursuit of meaning, brotherhood and personal growth. In the spirit of sukkat shalom, we are inspired by—and collaborate with—our partner organization, Sholom Women, and strive to serve the entire PTS community through our actions.
About: The Mensches are a self-funded men's organization that offer--on the average--one event per month throughout the year. While our group is made up of PTS men, our programs are open to the entire PTS community--anyone who is interested in attending--including all clergy, all congregants, and entire families. The programs themselves include a full array of areas that often have guest speakers discussing interesting, relevant topics. In addition, anyone can become a member of the Mensches upon request.
