Thank you for your interest in Sholom Women!
Our current Leadership Council felt it was best for Sholom Women to take a "sabbatical" for a year to re-evaluate the next steps for our Sisterhood. We will be taking the time to step back from most of our events/programs that we provide, limiting our energy on a few programs and focusing the majority of our time on a Listening/Kolot Campaign with the women of PTS. We do plan to continue the Gift Shop, Monthly Mah Jongg with Beth El Women, our Annual Evening Under the Sukkah and Rosh Hodesh Celebrations.
The goal this year is to find what interests the women at PTS and to determine if there is the energy and willingness to participate in a women's group. We will be conducting several small group discussions and hope that you can join our upcoming conversations which will begin in Fall. We are pleased to inform you that we have three wonderful members joining our new Leadership Council this coming year. They are Nesa Bergman, Katie Christie and Julie Kraus. Susan Aptekar, Shari Carruthers and Diane Koss are also remaining on the Council
Thank you again for your support and we are excited to begin this learning experience. Please feel free to speak to any one of us on the Leadership Council if you have questions or want to learn more about the upcoming Listening/Kolot Campaign or about Sholom Women!
In Friendship,
Sholom Women Leadership Council
