Membership Categories
PTS congregants are invited to select their level of membership. Please make your selection knowing that PTS’s cost of operations is approximately $4,050 per household. If you are able to reach toward this amount, please consider increasing your membership commitment, joining the Tzedakah Circle, and/or making a special contribution to our Security Fund. On the other hand, if you are facing financial challenges, remember you can always select the amount to contribute that matches your personal situation; financial capacity should not be a barrier to membership.
Sustaining Membership Commitment

Membership commitments at this level, when added to our annual appeal and other contributions, provide funding for essential temple programs, maintenance of our facility, and clergy and staff compensation—and also substantially subsidize our Youth Education program.
Tzedakah Circle
Kehillah ($15,000) - Emet ($10,000) - Chesed ($5,000)
Membership commitments at this level make it possible for PTS to open its doors to everyone, regardless of means. Your Tzedakah Circle gift provides extra support, subsidizes essential programs and activities, and helps our community thrive. Tzedakah Circle members help fill the gap for members who are not able to make sustaining level gifts.
Tzedakah Circle members will not be solicited directly during the High Holy Days. They will be celebrated at an appreciation event and throughout the year.
Preschool Family

Out of Town
Membership

Out-of-town membership is available for those who live outside of the Bay Area. With an OOT membership, you are eligible for two High Holy Day name badges per family, may reach out to our clergy for pastoral care, and are welcome to participate in all activities and programs.
Complimentary
Programs
$0
PTS offers complimentary memberships for one year to new member families with children in grades K-2 attending our Youth Education program and to couples married by our clergy.
