Shabbat JAM (Jews and Music)

From his very first Shabbat with PTS last summer, Cantor Kliger has been moved by the sound of our voices coming together! Shabbat JAM is for those of us together who love to sing. 

Is Shabbat JAM a Shabbat service? Well, it happens on Shabbat and there will be some (but not all) Jewish music, but it’s definitely not a service. Is it a performance? No, it’s not that either. Is it a rehearsal? No, not a rehearsal. 

So, what IS Shabbat Jam? It’s an opportunity to join together with your musical community and sing just for the sake of singing. The best part is… you don’t have to be a great musician or singer to participate. All are welcome!
