Tashlich

Wipe your slate clean and enjoy some fresh air and family fun!

Tashlich is the High Holy Day ritual of casting off our transgressions from the past year by symbolically tossing bread crumbs into a living body of water. This year, our tashlich ceremony will be at Rockaway Beach in Pacifica. We'll join together in a musical and brief Tashlich service at 3:30 PM, followed by time to socialize. It's the best of the High Holy Days: personal reflection, a fresh start, and fun with friends and family. We will bring bird seed, which is environmentally friendly, to toss. You should bring a picnic dinner, warm layers, and a blanket or lawn chair. Click here for directions from PTS.
