Fossil fuel-driven climate change is costing Californians billions of dollars. 

That’s why PTS is joining the California Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism (RAC-CA) to fight for the Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act (SB 684/AB 1243), a common-sense bill that will assess a fee on the largest fossil fuel polluters to pay their fair share of the climate damage caused by their products.

I’m urging you to make polluters pay for the escalating costs of climate change in
California by voting "yes" on the California Polluters Pay Climate Superfund bill
(AB1243).

Californians urgently need a Climate Superfund to bring down costs while
ensuring we have the resources to respond to climate catastrophes, build climate
resilient neighborhoods, prepare for future climate harms, and accelerate the
transition away from fossil fuels.
