The Mitzvah Team (The word "Mitzvah" is the Hebrew word for doing a good deed) is designed to help us function as a community.  When a family or individual needs help, we want to be there for them. 

As a community we acknowledge simchas - happy occasions as well as sad family occasions. We can help with the birth of a baby (well, maybe not the actual birth...) or other joyous life-cycle events, serious illness, medical emergency, or an unexpected family situation. 

We want to reach out to our preschool families and give support and lend a helping hand. We can provide dinners, arrange transportation, run errands.
