Rabbi Lisa Delson joined PTS in the summer of 2014. She serves our community by teaching all ages about the joy and relevance of Jewish life, leading our social justice teams, providing pastoral care, and offering spiritual guidance. A leader among her colleagues, Rabbi Delson serves as the Vice President for Social Action and Advocacy on the Women’s Rabbinic Network board where she has been active in creating the Family and Medical Leave Policy Standard for the Jewish Community. She currently serves on the Rabbinic Advisory Committee of Shalom Bayit: Ending Domestic Violence in Jewish Homes and the Peninsula Solidarity Cohort, a multifaith organization tackling social issues of the day and was a Balfour Bricker Social Justice Fellow through the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism from 2018-2019.

She earned a bachelor in sociology and Judaic studies from the University of Cincinnati and an MA from Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion. Rabbi Delson was ordained in 2009. Prior to coming to PTS, Rabbi Delson served as Assistant Rabbi and Program Director at Temple Beth Emeth in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
